Ernie is survived by his son, Ned (Myrna) of Maquoketa, Iowa; daughters, Nancy (Tim) Schumann of Waukesha, Wisconsin, Marcia (Bob) Hutchins of Prior Lake, Minnesota; daughter-in-law, Helen Stoltenburg of Cottage Grove, Minnesota; nine grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, LaDonna (Howard) Puder of Rochester, Minnesota.
He was preceded in death by the love of his life, Florine, in 2007; sons, Mark in 1966 and John in 2008; grandson, Eric Stoltenburg; and by his siblings.
Ernie was a faithful Christian, a loving husband and father, and a baker most of his working life. He was a WWll veteran who proudly served his country. He lovingly taught his children about their Savior, and set a wonderful example of love and faithfulness to Florine.
A special thanks to all who cared for Ernie. He had many excellent caregivers, but none better than his daughter, Marcia, and her family who tirelessly cared for both Ernie and Florine.
