Cottonwood crests at 14.13

Two women and their dogs get a close up look at the Cottonwood River overflowing Cottonwood Street, just west of the bridge at the south edge of New Ulm Saturday afternoon. The river crested at 14.13 feet Friday afternoon in New Ulm, according to the National Weather Service (NWS). The river was measured at 12.01 feet at 2 p.m. Sunday. Flood stage is 11 feet.
