BMX racing to be held this weekend

NEW ULM – Friday, July 18 kicks off three days of BMX racing at the track in New Ulm. Action kicks off Friday night with a pork roast and a local race. Food will begin being served approximately 5 p.m. with racing registration starting at 6 p.m., and racing following at 7 p.m. As with all races, spectators are free and the meal is open to all with proceeds going to support the track.

On Saturday, New Ulm BMX is hosting a Gold Cup qualifying race. This race will bring in athletes from all over Minnesota as well as, outside the state. Race registration is from 3:30-5:30 p.m. with racing action to follow. Then on Sunday, New Ulm will host the Minnesota State qualifying race. Racing action for that day will have registration from 9-11 a.m. with racing to follow.
