Chamber supports ISD 88 Referendum
NEW ULM – The New Ulm Area Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors has taken a position of support of the District 88 building bond referendum on Tuesday.
The referendum is seeking up to $46.9 million in bonds to build a new high school in New Ulm, and renovate the other three buildings in the district.
“The Board sees safe and adequate educational facilities as a necessity now -?and critical for the future building of our community,” Chamber President Audra Shaneman wrote in a letter published in today’s Journal.
The letter is on page 8B of today’s Journal, in the Chamber News.
