Lloyd Victor Perry was born Jan. 23, 1937 in Stewart and was a 1955 graduate of Stewart High School. He was united in marriage to Annette Tautges on October 11, 1958 at St. Willibrord’s Catholic Church in Gibbon. After marriage they lived in New Ulm where he was employed at Freeman Manufacturing, Singer Sewing Machine until 1965 and then 3M for 31 years until his retirement in 1996 with 25 years of perfect attendance. After retiring from 3M, Lloyd took great pleasure in working at lawn mower and small engine repair shops. He enjoyed deer hunting in Wyoming, fishing and his lake home near Backus. Lloyd could often be found in a competitive card game or repairing a challenging sewing machine. Most of all, he loved his grandchildren and supported their interests.

Lloyd was a member of the Cathedral of the Holy Trinity, Catholic Order of Foresters, Optimist Club and the 3M Club.

In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorials to the American Cancer Society, MS Society or to the donor’s choice.
