Daub, Hauger lead Tigers in opening cross-country meet

SPRINGFIELD – The Springfield/Cedar Mountain boy’s cross-country team placed third, while the girl’s team place second at its home meet on Monday.

Leading the boy’s side was Colin Daub, who finished fourth individually with a time of 17:28. Dylan Nachreiner finished eighth with 18:23 and Andrew Nachreiner finished 11th with 19:08. Anthony Roiger (17th) and Lance Zeug (19th) round out the boy’s scoring.

The girl’s team was led by fourth-place finisher Sidney Hauger, who ran a 17:45. Kaelyn Platz finished ninth (18:56), Ashley Larson was 10th (19:04), Lauren Zeug was 12th (19:26) and Irene Anderson was 19th (21:31).

The teams continue on Sept. 4 in at meet at Tracy-Milroy-Balaton.
