Ice Bucket Challenges for ALS at J.R. Schugel, Oak Hills
The management team at JR Schugel responded to the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge on Monday. A long-time driver of JRS challenged the management team to donate and participate in the challenge. Because ALS has personally affected individuals at JR?Schugel, the challenge was quickly accepted. Rick Schugel and Brad Schugel lost their grandmother to ALS, as well as JR Schugel’s long-time insurance agent Don Sullivan. Nine managers sat together as a payloader poured hundreds of gallons of cold water and 80 pounds of ice on them. A total of $900 was donated to the cause.

The staff members took the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge in memory of a resident who died from ALS and in honor of other residents with ALS. They have now issued a challenge to the staff of Neighborhood Two at Oak Hills.
